Iraqi Army Captures Foreign Fighter Facilitators During Raid
Multi-National Corps – Iraq PAO
BAGHDAD – 7th Iraqi Army Division Soldiers captured four suspected members of an insurgent cell during operations with Coalition advisers Feb. 20 in Ramana, near the Syrian border.
The suspects are believed responsible for facilitating the movement of foreign fighters and weapons into Iraq. They are also implicated in conducting improvised explosive device and other attacks against Iraqi Security Forces and Coalition Forces.
