Small arms fire targets MND-B patrol Multi-National Division – Baghdad Public Affairs
BAGHDAD – An MND-B Soldier died and three others were wounded when a combat security patrol was attacked with small arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades in a western section of the Iraqi capital April 21. Elements of this unit continue to conduct combined clearing operations with their Iraqi army counterparts, uncovering several weapons caches recently in the area. The deceased Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense. -30-
