IA, Paratroopers capture insurgents
Multi-National Division – Center PAO
KALSU, Iraq – Iraqi Army Soldiers and paratroopers detained four men suspected of conducting attacks against the Iraqi Army and Coalition force members in southern Baghdad today.
Soldiers from the 5th Battalion, 4th Brigade, 6th Iraqi Army Division and paratroopers from the 1st Squadron, 40th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division were clearing an area in southern Baghdad looking for insurgent activity when the men were detained.
The Iraqi Army took the men into custody and is holding them for further questioning.
