Operation “The Iron Hammer” results in cache find
Multi-National Force – West PAO
Al-Ramadi, Iraq – On April 30, during operation “The Iron Hammer,” the men of the 2nd Battalion of the Quick Intervention Brigade, found the following items in Fallujah:
- 2 mortar 82 mm
- 3 single bullet magazines
- A base for a Humvee tower
- 9 mortar rounds 82mm
- 2 vehicles type Crista with rocket inside it
- Publication brochures against Coalition Forces
- Solution for weapons maintenance
- Batteries to explode IEDS.
On the same day the 3rd Battalion of the quick intervention Brigade found in the following items in the Jolan district of Fallujah:
- 100 mortar fuses
- 30 bullet magazines for AK47s
- TNT paste 50KG
- Publications against the Iraqi army and Coalition forces
- 144 mortars 152mm
- 15 anti personnel mines
- Explosives for filling
- Large amounts of wires and cables for Motorola,
- Chlorine bags
- 5 RBK rifles
- 5 BKC automatic guns
- 44 RBG7
- 14 Burno long rifle guns
- 7 Russian Dushka
- Day and night binoculars
- 34 Sinau equipments and accessories
- 7 car license plates
- Flare pistols
- Tutu pistols
- Porsaeed automatic machine gun
- 4 rocket launcher stage
- 5 Simonov guns
- 4mortar 82mm
- 4 mortars 60mm with supporters
- Sniper gun
- 27AK47 short
- 7hand grenades
- 5 protection masks
- 6 BKC boxes
- 4 Oxygen cylinders
- A vehicle with weapons and publications inside it was destroyed
