MND-N Soldier killed, 9 wounded
Multi-National Division – North PAO

TIKRIT, Iraq – A Multinational Division-North Soldier died as a result of injuries
sustained from an explosion while conducting combat operations in Diyala province,
Thursday.

Nine other Soldiers were also wounded in the incident and were taken to a
Coalition Forces’ medical treatment facility. Two Soldiers were later returned to duty.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin
and release by the Department of Defense.
