Task Force Lightning Soldiers attacked
Multinational Division – North PAO

TIKRIT, Iraq – Two Task Force Lightning Soldiers were killed as a result of injuries sustained from an explosion near their vehicle while conducting operations in Baghdad Province, Saturday.
One Soldier was also wounded and transported to a Coalition medical facility for treatment.
The names of the deceased are being withheld pending next of kin notification and release by the Department of Defense.
