MND-B Soldier killed during combat operations
 Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD — A Multi-National Division-Baghdad Soldier was killed during combat operations in a southwestern section of the Iraqi capital June 21.
 
Soldiers in this unit continue to conduct combined clearing operations in this area of Baghdad in an effort to reduce sectarian violence and continually promote Iraqi lead security operations to gain confidence and support from the Iraqi people.
 
The Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
