Iraqi Security Forces detain four suspected terrorists near
Mandali Multi-National Corps – Iraq PAO

TAJI, Iraq – Iraqi Security Forces detained four suspected terrorists believed to be linked to Al-Qaeda in Iraq during an operation near Mandali June 30.  The four suspects are allegedly responsible for facilitating improvised explosive device attacks that have resulted in the deaths of numerous innocent civilians in Diyala Province.
 
Iraqi forces also seized a variety of materials used to make IEDs, including blasting caps, wire, tubing, plastic explosives and five 155mm artillery shells.
 
Coalition Forces were present as advisors.  No Iraqi or Coalition Forces were injured during the operation.
