MNC-I Soldier attacked during military operations (Mosul)

Multi-National Corps – Iraq PAO

BAGHDAD – A Multi-National Corps - Iraq Soldier was killed today during military operations near the city of Mosul.

The Soldier was mortally wounded by gunfire while providing security to a Police Transitional Team training mission near an Iraqi Police Station.

The Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
