HBIED kills Iraqi Army Soldier, wounds 1 (Diyala)

Multi-National Division – North PAO

TIKRIT, Iraq – A house-born improvised explosive device at a water treatment plant killed an Iraqi Army Soldier and wounded another Iraqi Army Soldier in Diyala March 19.

The Iraqi Soldiers were conducting a clearing mission in the water treatment plant when one of the Soldiers triggered a booby-trapped closet door.

The incident is under investigation.
