SVBIED kills Iraqi Army Soldier, wounds 19 in Mosul

TIKRIT, Iraq – A suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device killed an Iraqi Army Soldier, wounded 16 Iraqi Army Soldiers, and also wounded three Iraqi citizens in Mosul March 19.
 
The car bomb was a dump truck with approximately 2,000 pounds of explosives.
 
“This attack against the individuals trying to bring stability to the people of Iraq demonstrates the barbaric nature of the insurgents,” said Maj. Dan Meyers, spokesman for Multi-National Division - North.
