Iraqi Army, MND-C Soldiers discover EFP cache (Mahmudiyah)

CAMP STRIKER, Iraq – The Iraqi Army and Multi-National Division – Center Soldiers uncovered a weapons cache in Mahmudiyah March 28.

The cache was found during a routine cordon and search mission by Soldiers from the 25th Brigade, 6th Iraqi Army Division and Soldiers from 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).

The cache consisted of more than 15 explosively formed projectiles, hundreds of rounds, Iraqi National Police uniforms and rifles.

The cache also included more than 100 various EFP components, detonation cord, fuses and a bag of homemade explosives.
