SVBIED attack destroys school building
Multi-National Division – North PAO

MOSUL, Iraq – A vehicle-borne improvised explosive device destroyed a local school building in east Mosul March 30.

The attack occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m. The driver of the vehicle was killed during the attack. One local Iraqi was injured and treated at the scene.

“Insurgents are not only committed to stealing the future of Iraqi citizens, but today’s senseless attack was on the future of Iraq’s children,” said Maj. Gary Dangerfield, spokesman for the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment.
