MND-B soldiers kill four criminals in New Baghdad Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD – Multi-National Division – Baghdad soldiers killed four criminals in the New Baghdad district of eastern Baghdad May 4.
 
After criminals attacked soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment with small-arms fire, the MND-B soldiers returned fire.  Two aerial weapons teams supported the infantrymen and engaged weapons fire. The four criminals were killed in the engagement.
 
“These criminals have no concern for the future of Iraq. We will continue to use all available resources to end these attacks and defend ourselves and the people of Iraq,” said Maj. Alan Stout, spokesperson for MND-B. “Coalition forces, along with our Iraqi counterparts, remain steadfast in fighting these violators of the rule of law.”
