ISOF capture four suspected Special Groups criminals in two separate operations (Balad)

BALAD, Iraq – Iraqi Special Operations Forces captured a suspected Special Groups criminal cell leader and three suspected Special Groups criminal kidnappers in two separate operations in western Baghdad, May 28.

The ISOF conducted one operation to capture an alleged Special Groups cell leader, suspected of harassment, intimidation and extortion.

In another operation, ISOF captured three suspected Special Groups criminals believed to be responsible for the kidnapping of an ISOF warrant officer last week. Six others were detained for questioning.
