MND-B Soldiers detain suspected criminal
Multi-National Division – Baghdad

FORWARD OPERATING BASE FALCON, Iraq – Multi-National Division – Baghdad “Raiders” Soldiers detained a suspected criminal at approximately 9:45 a.m. in the Rashid district of southern Baghdad May 31.
 
Soldiers from Company C, 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment attached to 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division detained a known criminal in the Jaza’ir neighborhood.
 
The suspected criminal is allegedly connected with numerous murders of Iraqi citizens in 2007, weapons smuggling and other criminal activity.
 
“During the last 45-days, Raider Soldiers detained more than 200 criminals and seized over 100 weapons and munitions caches to reduce criminal activity in the Rashid district,” said Maj. Dave Olson, 1st BCT Spokesman, 4th Inf. Div. “The Raider Brigade with their Iraqi Security Forces partners continues to provide a safe and secure environment for the Iraqi people.”
