ISOF detain two suspected Special Groups criminals in separate Baghdad operations

BALAD, Iraq – Iraqi Special Operations Forces detained two suspected Special Groups criminals in Baghdad July 24-25.

The ISOF detained a suspected Special Groups criminal allegedly associated with improvised rocket assisted mortar attacks in Baghdad July 25. He is believed to have IRAMs assembled and ready to use against Coalition force bases.

In an operation July 24, ISOF detained a suspected criminal leader reportedly responsible for weapons trafficking from Iran into Diyala.
