Multi-National Corps – Iraq Public Affairs Office, Camp Victory APO AE 09342 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE RELEASE No. 20080816-03 Aug. 16, 2008 Hearing for U.S. Soldier charged in association with Iraqi detainee’s death begins next month Multi-National Division – North PAO TIKRIT, Iraq – An Article 32 pretrial investigation for Staff Sgt. Hal M. Warner, original scheduled for Aug.15 will begin Sept. 5 at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, near Tikrit. Warner has been charged with pre-meditated murder, accessory after the fact, assault, making a false official statement and obstruction of justice. He is assigned to D Company, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry at Forward Operating Base Summerall, near Bayji.
