Multi-National Corps – Iraq Public Affairs Office, Camp Victory APO AE 09342 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE RELEASE No. 20081104-04 Nov. 4, 2008 Engineers train IA field engineers in route clearance operations Multi-National Corps – Iraq PAO Combat Operating Base Adder, Tallil, Iraq – Training and conducting operations with the 10th Iraqi Army on route clearance operations is one of the 14th Engineer Battalion’s many important tasks. The 555th Engineer Brigade‘s 14th Engineer Bn., is currently training the second class of IA soldiers on route clearing techniques at the Route Clearance Academy Combat Operating Base Adder. The academy stresses both classroom instruction and practical application, before conducting actual combined route clearance missions with the 570th Sapper Company. One class has already graduated from the course and future classes already scheduled. Lt. Col.
