MND-B Soldier dies of wounds following IED attack
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO
BAGHDAD, Iraq – A Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldier died of wounds and two Soldiers were wounded in a blast in northern Baghdad Nov. 8.
The Soldiers were wounded when the vehicle they were traveling in was struck by an improvised explosive device at approximately noon.
The Soldiers were quickly transported to the medical facility; however, one Soldier later succumbed to the wounds.
The Soldiers’ names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The names of the service members are announced through the U.S. Department of Defense Official Website at http://www.defenselink.mil/ .
The announcements are made on the Website no earlier than 24 hours after notification of the service member’s primary next of kin.
