Iraqi Army conducts raid to find missing Soldier
Multi-National Corps – Iraq PAO

BAGHDAD – Special Iraqi Army forces, with coalition advisers, detained three people during an operation in Sadr City, Baghdad Oct. 31.

The purpose of the mission was to search for the missing US Soldier and to capture the leadership of a kidnapping cell reported to have knowledge of the Soldier’s location.

The Soldier has been listed as Duty Status-Whereabouts Unknown since he was abducted from a relative’s house in the Baghdad area Oct. 23.
